Dear Tiffanitsa,

I still have had no news about the Greek voice. The place to monitor is assistive ware website with the voice choices page.

At the moment, I still use Windows and Jaws for Braille output for Greek. The Greek voice was supposed to be released by the end of this year by Acapella but I don't think it's happened yet. Shame! You may want to consider going with Windows and running it in fusion. I run it under bootcamp for now but the need to constantly reboot makes me want to switch to Fusion. I shall do so as soon as I have the money to get the software and expand my Macbook Pro memory from 2 to 4 GB.

By the ay, Tiffanitsa, have you been able to use Louis successfully to print Greek in Braille?

With best wishes

Simon

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if anyone's heardsomething new regarding Greek access
on the Mac. I know Acapela was supposed to release a synthesizer in
November but don't think they did for the Mac. I've heard that
Realspeak can be used with TextAloud but am not sure if we'd come
across the same problems as we do with ESpeak and VoiceOver or if
there's a work-around. If I eventually do need to install Windows on
the Mac, should I go with Fusion or that simulator?

Thanks,
Tiffanitsa
