There's no reason to go with an earlier version of Fusion. The few
accessibility hitches in version 2 have simple workarounds, and
version 2 performs much better than earlier versions.
The only real accessibility problem in Fusion 2 is that some table
items don't speak, saying "unknown" instead. However, you just need to
VO to the right of the table to find the information about what the
item is.

I'm wondering which version of Fusion is more accessible? Should I go
with the latest one or with an earlier one?

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a
thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot
possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to
get at or repair.
