Hmm, do you mean different widgets? Could you give me some more details?

Is'nt it widgets we are talking about?
I'll get some sighted assistance to check if the widget is empty...

Hi again David.

I found out that the extension for a widget file is .wdgt. Then I changed the extension to .wdgt, it recognize the file as a widget file. But when I open the file in Dashboard, I can't do anything. It seems as the widget is empty, unless there are some inaccessible widgets.

Where do I find the Dashboard.app file? It's not in my applicationsfolder, and I can't find it if I search for it using Spotlight.
I know my dashboard works. It comes up when I press the f12 key.

I don't know why it should be this way, but the only thing I can think of is to get info on it and choose dashboard.app to open it with.

The extension is .widget so far as I can see. I have another widget which was automatically installed then I installed my hp drivers. This also have the extension .widget, so I'm wandering why it doesn't work.

Hi all.

I have started to play around with widgets, and it works very well. I've found a danish weather widget which I want to add to my dashboard. The danish widget is not on Apples website, so I found it on another website and downloaded it using Safari. The weird thing is that my Mac doesn't recognize it as a widget file. Instead, it recognize it as a document. I've tried to do a control click on the file, and choose open with another program, but I can't find the dashboard in the program chooser. How do I fix the file so it recognize it as a widget file and how do I add it to the dashboard? THere were both a mac and a Windows link on the website where I found the widget, so I'm sure I've got the right widget.
