I use a Siemens 6500 series DSL modem / wireless router. the user interface
is reasonably accessible with both IE and FF. It is also a pretty good
modem (current uptime is 45 days). I get about 1100KBps transfering files
from one computer to another across the wireless LAN.

I've got a netgear stand alone and it works well. I've not had any
experience with combos though. While the initial setup was done via cd,
it might not have been necessary because I just followed the
instructions. I also don't know the model off hand.
