I use so don't use screen brightness controlls. It is not persistant
but it is handy and I am not certain what it does do darken the screen.

The screen curtain does not conserve battery life as far as I know, it

would not be persistant between reboots.

because I ue the screeen curtain and on my macs running windows,

There is a brightness slider near the bottom of this window that

"FN" + "F1/F2" are respectively down and up.

Good morning,
1. Is there a way to dim the screen on a MacBook?
2. Can these changes persist a reboot, or being plugged back in,
or do I need to dim the screen every time I wish to conserve
battery life?
Thanks,
