Hello Dan,
Hey, thanks. At this point, I'm in the final decision making process.

Hi, well i really haven't had any problems gettingcomputers connected. I've got several WIndows Machines here, and a couple of macs here as well. If youalso decide to hook up a printer to your time capsule, if you get one, you'll have to install Bonjour for windows on to any windows machines thatyou may have, so that the printer can be seen on them. When you install that, during the installation, it'll ask you whehter you want to put an icon for the Bonjour printer wizard on your desktop. I would do this, as I'm not sure how to get to it otherwise. Run that printer wizard, and it should see the printer hooked up to the time capsule, so just follow the prompts to get that working. But anyway, this isn't a windows list, it's a mac list, so back to all things mac. Smile. Just thought I'd mention that though about Bonjour for windows, which can be downloaded off the Apple website of course. Hope this helps if you decide to get a time capsule.

Hello Dan,
Thanks for your observations.
That's another option to seriously consider.
While I doubt if there are really any problems, along this line, I do have a question. Are there any particular problems associated with setting up other platforms on the airport router, such as Windows or Linux?
Thanks.

Hi, at onetime, I did have a Linksys, and had no issues with it in Safari, however, I'd often lose my connection when I'd be right in the middle of something, , and as a result, have to unplug the router for a few seconds, and plug it back in. THese times of having to do that got so frequent, and plus I wanted something to back up my Mac, and use TIme Machine with, so I got a 500 gig Time Capsule, and haven't had the experience of things cutting out at all like I did with the Linksys router. So I'd highly recommend going with an apple base station of some sort.

Hello everyone,
We are getting ready to purchase either a wireless router and Cable modem or a Cable modem Wireless Router combined. So my question is this. Which router has the best and clearest interface for Safari and VO?
Or would I be better to consider an Airport base station.
We will also be connecting a few windows machines and a Linux box as well.
Thanks.
Dan
