You asked: is the preview pane on by default in mail under leopard?
if so how do I please disable this
TK: Navigate to the horizontal splitter just after the Messages Table and double-click on it. Double-click means VO-Shift-space-space or make sure the mouse is routed to the VO location and double-click on the left mouse button or trackpad button.
