Hi
Game controllers are set up in their respective emulators. However, OS X is not the best with gaming controllers, and has limited support for them. You're probably going to need to use software such as Gamepad Companion or USB Overdrive X to configure your game controller to simulate keypresses in order for it to work with most emulators. Many OS X emulators leave out Joystick support, probably due to OS X's limited facilities for handling it. In general, gaming is not the Mac's strong point. I haven't been able to try Gamepad Companion as of yet, as my controllers (logitech dual-action gamepads) died a little while back and I just haven't replaced them at the moment. I did try USb Overdrive X and wasn't able to get it to work properly, though that may have just been my gamepads acting up, as they died shortly afterward. I haven't replaced them, mostly because I'm not sure which gamepads I want now as my all time favorite, the Gravis Gamepad Pro, is no longer available and hasn't been for some time.

Hi all:

I know this is an odd one to post. LOL but anyone know where to go to set up a game controller? I'm trying to set up my logitech game controller to play with Nestopia.

TNX all:

Mike

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
