Huh? Where is the trouble?
If you cancel or interrupt an installation, then restoring the unmodified state of the system, instead of leaving the half-installed and unusable body of an installation, is the best thing you can do.
Of course if the install fails repeatedly then it would be helpful to get a message (or log entry) that explains what failed and how, so you can fix it.
