I second Andrew's macros.

I haven't yet downloaded the extras, so these may be dumb questions.

How are the macros going to be installed?
Is there going to be a covering guide to the macros?
What is the vetting process going to be for including macros, now and in
the future?

Within the next week (maybe two) I hope to have a working prototype of a
macro for selecting, downloading, and installing macros for OOo2.0
(making use of the improved package management facility).

Now for some more dumb questions about templates:

What is the ongoing update process going to be?
Are the templates in (or going to be in) a folder structure that makes
it easier for people to find a template to do the job they require?
Is there (or will there be) covering information about how to use the
templates?
Is there (or will there be) an installation process so that the
templates end-up in the templates folders, so that they are accessible
from File > New > Templates and Documents... ?

Now for some more dumb questions and comments about clipart:

Currently the only aid to finding clipart in Gallery is by theme. Is the
clipart (or will it be) installable such that the clipart is already
organised by theme?
What is the ongoing update process going to be?

In my opinion the Gallery's functionality needs to be extended to
include being able to search by title. (It could also do to have the
ability to have some more fields, like keyword, comment, place, ... and
that these fields can also be used in search criteria). I confess that
this was the first thing I looked into for customising OOo and haven't
been able to figure out how - other than to change the source code.

Thanks, Ian Laurenson
