you know how on your spreed sheet there's a border maker for your colums...
In ms office there is 2 thiknesses for the colum borders...
Why don't you do that...

Although I think I'd probably be satisfied with just two thicknesses, I really like that OpenOffice has five thicknesses. It's great! (See Format/Cells/Borders)


Although you can change the thicknesses from the dropdown button with Excel, OpenOffice gives you something I find even more useful: cell styles. Just tell the Stylist how thick you want your borders for headings, totals, and all sorts of things, and it gets it right every time.
