I am furious at more anti-competitive efforts by Microsoft in an attempt
to block usage of competitive products. Today, I misspelled the
OpenOffice.org website, and was directed to a site selling Microsoft
Office. Considering how MS sues everyone who owns a domain name even
slightly resembling theirs, I would suggest that this is completely
hypocritical, and reprehensible. Additionally, one of the downsides of
MS' purchase of, what was once upon a time a great webmail resource,
Hotmail, is that now it appears that OpenOffice.org attachments are
blocked as an unknown virus. Reprehensible doesn't even begin to
describe "Billy-Boy & Co." Just wanted to bring these issues up as I do
consider this a marketing and usage issue. Please feel free to respond
to the below obfusicated email address.
Thank you for a great product in OpenOffice.org, and please continue the
good work.
