On my OpenOffice.org web page: http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/hillview/OOo/ I have put a template,1800MS_IL.2.stw, that modifies the statusbar. It is an experimental idea to see what people like and get some feedback. It works in 1.1.x but not 1.9.x. If there is sufficient interest I will try and get this project tidied up and workable for OpenOffice.org 2.0.
