Hello Kurt
Thank you for alerting us to your mini-review and rave about XForms in OpenOffice.org.
I have cross-posted to the OpenOffice.org Marketing Project. When we were going throught the list of features (http://marketing.openoffice.org/2.0/featureguide.html) and asking people which ones they thought were important I don't think anyone plucked out XForms. Note: Its mention is right down the bottom. But I do remember at OOoCon 2004 (http://marketing.openoffice.org/ooocon2004/friday.html), the XML track (green) was popular and there was a buzz about XForms and XSLT.
Also, some people may not understand your excitement in comparing OpenOffice.org XForms to Infopath so if you could share this with us in simple terms that would be great.
We look forward to further candid reviews with regard to your interest in XForms.
All the best Jacqueline McNally Lead, OpenOffice.org Marketing Project
