May I say - I like Open Office 2 even more than 1 despite some display 
glitches with Impress (which seem to be under review)

And while some of the grander wish list items (dual screen display for 
presentations e.g.) under discussion are great I would like to say how nice 
it is to have the simple word count available. I am already using it 
repeatedly while writing word length limited articles. Long time coming but 
lovely.

I hope the Open-ness can prevail though the corporate (patents e.g.) 
onslaught is getting more and more underhand [see UK Guardian newspaper 
stories on how it is being slid through the European Union].
