I think this is a good idea. The problem is, if the program crashes or the computer freezes or if an error is occurring, it would seem unlikely that a call to an external program would work. Actualy, the idea behind the screen capture utility was so that the error coudl be "re-produced" If the error can't be reproduced, then it may have been a fluke. If the error can be reproduced, from scratch, then the screen capture would be very useful. Second. I suggested using a "seperate component" approach, so that when OOo Crashes, the screen capture won't. Two different programs running in different sections of memory, that are simply bundled together in the same installer, and registered with OOo. What I find best, if I don't have time to load a better screen capture program, is to hit *Print Screen*. On Windows at least this does a screen capture I can then paste into a graphics program and save and attach to an issue. If I have time I use MWSnap, this is a nice little free program I was pointed to. It has lots of features but is small. Hope this helps. -- Peter Kupfer OOo user since 'OO4 http://peschtra.tripod.com/open_office/ooo_front.htm --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------- Post your free ad now!
