I ca;t answer that question since I am not sure if you mean a security hole on the lanaguge or on OpenOffice.org. OOo configurations usually have security features to disable macros. Read about it on Tools > Configuration.
But a security expert most run a test on both language and determing which one is the less buggy. However I dont think that's what you are talking about right now. -- Alexandro Colorado Co-Leader of OpenOffice.org Spanish http://es.openoffice.org/ Mensaje citado por Sweet Coffee <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Hi Alexandro! > > Does OOoBasic have the security problems alluded to VB in this thread?? > > SC > > On Mon, 28 Mar 2005 16:02:38 +0300, Alexandro Colorado > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Not sure how will this help exactly, you realize VB is not a real language. > I > > mean is Basic attached with the Win32 libraries and components while the > UNO > > has the own OOo libraries. > > > > VBA on the other side is more like a scripting language since is not > oriented to > > win32 specific components. > > > > On the other side just learning OOoBasic would be a much better decision > simply > > because even if a binding is created it wont mean automatically that it > will > > work without re-coding. > > > > -- > > Alexandro Colorado > > Co-Leader of OpenOffice.org Spanish > > http://es.openoffice.org/ > > > > Mensaje citado por Jacob Floyd <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > > > > I think that someone could write an UNO Bridge to allow use of VB. > > > > > > Jacob > > > > > > > > > On Fri, 25 Mar 2005 14:23:22 -0500, Sweet Coffee > > > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > Hello Everyone! > > > > > > > > A the webmaster for a site called "Teachers-Pet.org " is interested in > > > > writing some educational software for OO.
