I wonder if some of its shortcomings are responsible for this.
Rather than file some ill advised RFE I think some discussion of this feature by users first would be a good idea. I think that it would be beneficial if many of us would chip in with our comments about what we like or don't like about auto complete, and then what might be the best fixes for what we don't like. I know that the feature would be much more useful to me if it didn't gather character strings containing numerals or in all caps from chapter headings etc. Lets hear from many of you and perhaps we can come up with some very doable suggestions as how to improve auto complete.
