None that I know of. Are you sure this person didn't confuse our product with someone elses?

Well, with MS you have to register office, and if you register like more than 10 times or something, it locks up on you FOREVER! That is if you re-format your hard drive 10 times (intentionally) with the same version of MS Office (not unheard of) you have to buy a new one!
