I had an interesting experience the other day, the the community centre cycafe I work as a volunteer for. An elderly gent turned up, with some photos he wanted switched from horizontal to vertical for online selling of the things they represented.

I found the local installation of OpenOffice.org and fired up Draw. I worked out how to spin the photo around, so it was vertical, and he wanted to take the program home with him! (Unfortunately, the installation package had gone awol, and I wasn't able to burn him a copy then and there - pity.)

It's heartening!

I'm glad the guy wants to use OOo, but FWIW you can do that in about one click with the Picture and Fax Viewer that comes with WinXP.

Maybe it was more complex than it sounds. -- Peter Kupfer -- Using OOo since 'OO4 -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Want to help? http://www.oooauthors.org For OOo tips: http://openoffice.peschtra.com/tips/ooo_tips_tricks.html To order OOo: http://openoffice.peschtra.com/distro/ooo_distro.html
