Great missing keyword: compatibility and compliance. -- so close thought.
Companies are cartels and giving back to open source for them means developing
their own, incompatible island of software instead of learning the current
implementation.

So compatibility is a terribly needed word. I hope the editor can 'mistakenly'
add this word to the quote. :D
