Hi,
I've had repeated occurences of opening calc files of the beta only to find that I have to rename before being able to edit them again. Since this is not repeatable for me, I want to avoid filing an issue (there doesn't seem to be one about a similar problem yet). I open by left-clicking, just as with any other file, so that it seems it isn't the opening process that is not to blame but something that happens to the file.
Do other people encounter the same problem, and is it possible that I "protected" my files myself by blindly clicking around while the computer seems to hang? Also, is it still possible to open these files for random access somehow (on WinXP)?
