zip files like Pinceau, Multipages, Multisave etc, all files containing a .xcu file in the second zip can be installed. Note that this doensn't work for the Gallery and they are for 1.x releases.

Agnes and OOoAuthors (thanks to them :) will tranlstate this document that explain how-to create add-ons easily.

2.0 mechanism allow you to add add-on very simply to your installation, and the most important, without restarting OOo, under tools/package manager.
