I am not a programmer, so i have no idea how hard these suggestions might be but here they are.
Add tabs to the management window of open office. If you look at firefox, Mozilla, or opera, they all use tabs inside of one window to allow you to view multiple web pages all at the same time. Adapting this feature to open office would be an amazing tool.
