I've just tested the LOG function and it works fine. Did you use it with 2 arguments: the number you want the log of and the base? It should look like this =LOG(A1;32) which will give you the log to the base 32 of whatever is in cell A1. If you want log to base 10 (one argument) then use LOG10 as in =LOG10(A2)
