I agree. These are terms we use for real, and we don't want them "corrected" by the spell check.
Maybe someone who knows more about this stuff than me should come up with an "Open Source Language Dictionary" that could be used for all open source projects.

...and thesauri, (although most of the words wouldn't work for thesauri).
Maybe we'll say that "Linux" and "GNU/Linux" are synonimous and that "open source" and "free software" are the same thing. He he, that should get some flames going :-)
I mean, the recognition of words is important. If OOo says that the word "OpenOffice.org" is misspelled, that sends a bad message about the project, and if it says Mozilla is misspelled, that makes it look like we don't recognize them.
At the very least, it looks like we are less-than-competent.
I'm pretty sure MS Office includes the words "Microsoft", "Powerpoint", and "Clippy" in their dictionaries/spelling lists. It's just good marketing.
