You send them an email with your message either in the email or atached in a file, and they forward it as a fax for a few cents per page, even overseas. When I fax, I normally convert my swx file to pdf, but today I forgot to do that. I was surprised when my fax failed to go through because Faxaway does not support swx files. Its not a big problem, but it seems like an unnecessary marketing barrier for OpenOffice.

OOo file format to their possible formats and then report back what they
say.
OOo uses the Oasis file format for which information can be found at:
