There is a development called visioo-writer which can read sxw files. I would
love to see a software that changes sxw to pdf or sxw to txt.
Right now OOo have filters to export if you have openoffice.org, you can also
export sxw files to Handheld compatible formats such as AportisDoc.
You install this filters when you install OpenOffice.org using a costumized
instalation (as opposed to a default). To access the filters you can go to
Tools > XML Filters..

Some filters are already available for Palm, but it depends on what
you're searching for. For Writer and Calc you can save as .pxl (pocket
excel) or .pdb (aportis doc) and .psw (pocket word). Note that you have
to run a custom install to make them available through OOo.
