I don't know how much implementation freedom there is, outside of the
spread sheet formula issue, but OpenOffice.org is the "reference
implementation" of OpenDocument and I take that to mean that where
there's enough freedom to introduce an incompatibility, the vendor
should do it the OOo way. I could be mistaken.
Anyway, of course it is also possible that the koffice implementation
is brand new and still has bugs in it...
For that matter, I'm sure ours does too :-)
I certainly don't expect the two programs to have perfect conversion
over night. OOo 2.0 is beta right now. And I imagine KOffice 1.4 is too.
