Well, maybe the point that Daniels and the others approving him (count
me in) wanted to make is just that the original comment should have
gone straight to somewhere else, no?
FWIW, I myself found the "original response" nothing to waste time on,
and the "defense" not exactly smart. And I won't waste any more list
bandwidth on this, promised.
And (I swear I didn't mess with it) ...gee... look at what my random
