I suggested sometime ago that the master document could import files

Master documents can import either complete files or sections from that
file into a master document. Since OOo is so integrated with each
other. It could be possible to import sections of a spread sheet or
drawing into a master document.
This will revolutionate the collaborative working since you can get
your accounting department encapsulate the graphs of real time
spreadsheets and be linked to a masterdocument that reports all the
financials, operative material as well as current news. The master
document will be something similar to a 'portal' document.
I like this idea a lot. On a somewhat related note I would like to see a
"Page View" in Calc. What I mean is that in Writer and Draw you see what
looks like a clean sheet of paper to start with. You can clearly see
what the final output will look like. In Calc (or Excel, for that
matter) it's very difficult to format the output because the only way to
see the final layout on paper is via Print Preview. Page Break Preview
doesn't really do it, because you can't tell where the content is in
relation to the margins.
The reason this relates to Alexandro's comment is that to insert a
"Page" from a spreadsheet, it would be very helpful to have that entity
more clearly defined.
