OpenOffice.org 2.0 should be able to open WordPerfect files. I think that eventually that it may even be able to open Quattro files. However it is not as easy as simply flicking a switch. Several things have to be available : 1) there has to be some description of the format of the file to open. If you have such a description of the file formats for Quattro. 2) there have to be developers , and testers willing work on this 3) the code has to be in an acceptable state for the OpenOffice.org team to add that code to the standard OOo code repository.

( http://openoffice.org -> "My Pages" -> "Register", then when you receive a confirmation email, "Login" and "File an issue" ) In this way the relevant developers will see your suggestion and you will also see the progress of this feature / bug report if it is accepted. > You may need to add extra bandwidth to your site.... response is so slow > as to be nearly unuseable. This will hopefully also happen soon.
