Hello all I am surprised not to have seen reference from others to a couple of problems that have become evident in the later incarnations of the OOo 2 series.
The most recent reported at: http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=55211 involves an "extra" user dictionary. I have a "medical" list and words added to this remain redlined, even though if I right-click them no alternatives are offered. If I do Tools-Options-Language Settings-Writing Aids, and select "Edit" on the "medical" dictionary the words are visible in the list. If I add them to the "standard" dictionary, then behaviour is normal. The other, reported at http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=52103 is an extension of an old trick of adding a complete list of specialised words. In the 1.1.x series this could be added to dictionary.lst and capitalised words were recognised. Now with the workaround in the bug report, lower case and upper have to be added separately. I was hoping this may go away as 2.0 release approaches, but RC2 still shows the same behaviour. If anyone feels like confirming for QA and/or voting, I would appreciate it Russell --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
