My point in posting (and I knew it was a spoof because I had looked at the
whole website, which is quite amusing)* is that I feel that much of
the software
patent fracas is sheer bluff and nonsense. Unfortunately some patent examiners
are, I am told, not familiar with software and are unable to tell
that a claimed
innovation is actually old hat and known for years to everyone.
Perhaps a move to ensure that sufficiently knowledgeable people are employed
in the Patent Office (or whatever it is called) might be fruitful.
