Just a random suggestion, try using DOC less and use RTF. It is understood by almost all office software (including Office) and can't carry a virus.


Yes, but our RTF filters are horrible. Much worse than the .doc ones. And -- really -- you can't get word viruses if you use OOo to open word documents.
True, but some viruses infect DOC files on the disk, and sending infected files to Word users will infect them.
