 Not many people have actually expressed what this PIM part of OOo would be.
I have not used MSOffice+Outlook, so I'm not aware of what all the integration 
there between MSWord and Outlook is. If you could explain what exactly you 
think that OOo needs to do in this regard and if you are willing to actually 
write it up fully, then it may have a better chance of being done.
