Hi all, I have installed OpenOffice2.0.0-2 on a Kanotix Debian Linux distro and use OpenOffice in KDE3.4.2. I have noticed an annoying behavior of Impress, that occurs whenever I want to edit a text box with multiple text lines: when I click on the text box to edit the text, the bottom text line is partially or totally invisible. If, for example, I wanto to add some text below, I have to guess where the bottom line terminates, click there with the mouse, type return, and then the line reappears. Otherwise there are no problems with visualization of the bottom line, including slide shows.
As a second problem, in the Openoffice2 version I am not able to find the "Animation effects" button (or any equivalent tool) that used to exist in former versions. There is a button called "Custom animation" but it doesn't seem to work, as nothing happens when I click on it. This is a serious limitation in creating slide presentations.
