I've tryied with different language setting and different font of importation, but without solution.

If the file has '.' as decimal separator and your locale has a different one (like Italian does), select "US English" instead of "Standard" as the column type in the Text Import dialog.

Yes, that works. Thank you Niklas.

But I think there should be at least a direct option in CVS-import screen to
choose between "," and "." as decimal separator. Actually, in Italian it's
"," by default, but "," is also the field separator in Comma-Separed-Value
files, so it's obvious that in a CSV file (even with italian settings) the
"," can't be also the decimal separator!
So I think that Calc, when using a language with "," as decimal separator as italian language,
should choose automatically "." as separator during CVS-files importation,
or at least Calc should ask which decimal separator to use, or there should
be an option to choose directly in the screen.

Bye,
Samuel
