Inexperianced person; the first four uses to view a document using Firefox Browser resulted in a sceen saying it "crashed" and requires going through

Max,
There may be many reasons why OpenOffice.org crashed including the setup of
firefix. Are you able to use OpenOffice.org by saving the document thru
firefox and then opening it in OpenOffice.org ?

I have not tried to "save" anything to office as when I see something I want to read it is a case of FF using *Office* to open it rather than PDF. Saving it in order to read it would require other measures to delete it if the object was only to read it.

Also what version of Windows, firefox and OpenOffice.org are you using ?

This is the firefox version in use: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 In short this is 1.07 upgraded with 1.5 and some added extentions. It has been flawless since upgrade and the 'crashes' do not occur since upgrade.

Normally [email protected] is the best list to ask questions about using
OpenOffice.org
