Actually what I have is not criticism in any way. I am very impressed
with the software. I have found though when it becomes necessary to convert
.obt files to .doc files in word they do not transfer accurately, I still have
to go into word and redo the formatting all over again. I don't use "word'
just for that reason but some of my associates only have word on their
computers. If I could completely convert all my files into "openoffice" format I
would, I really like the program.
On another tack, if I could import .pdf files and do corrections on them
it would be a great benefit, (to me, that is).

As you are not subscribed to the list, then you have not seen the
replys on the list.
I for one have had numerous problems going between different computers
just using Word. I have had better success with OOo between the same
computers.
It could be a font related issue as one computer may have a different
default font available and it is getting converted.
I use Linux with OOo and I have no issues working between different
users using Windows and Word. I have actually been able to open Word
documents that Word won't open for some strange reason. Saving
peoples butts in the process.
As more people around here experiment with OOo, they are using Word
less and less.
