I'm having a minor issue loading a .csv file into Calc. I'm sure there's
an easy way to fix it but it's escaping me at the moment. Can someone
please help?
Some of the fields in my .csv file begin with the "=" character. OOo is
interpreting them as formulas when in fact they are not. How do I tell
it that everything in the column is plain text? I've tried selecting the
column and setting the formatting to text but that didn't do it.
Also, I've been told there is also an OOo "users" list. Can someone tell
me how to access that via news.gmane.org? I've looked for it there as a
newsgroup but didn't find it. I much prefer the NG interface. Getting
hundreds of emails a day in my inbox, most of which I don't want to read
is not my idea of efficiency.
