The group working on extensions intend to include documentation for them on the wiki at wiki.services.openoffice.org. The "extension group" is competently lead by Laurent Godard, and envisions being an environment which fosters, supports and provides a framework for the development and deployment of OOo extensions. Like most people time is one of our problems, so if you have time and are interested in exploring these macros that come bundled with OOo writing about it on the wiki would be great. Remember with a wiki it doesn't have to be perfect as the next person can easily improve upon what you have written.
