I've printed our Christmas address labels using open office for the
last couple of years using open office. Each year it has been a
multiple hour undertaking, having to figure out how to register the
data source, view the right data source, etc. It has been an
extremely frustrating experience. The help topics related to this
are not easy to figure out. But I persevered because I believe in
open office and hate Microsoft. This year I gave up and did it at
work on Microsoft Word and Excel. It took 15 minutes and was really
simple. You've got to figure this out.

What do I have to figure out?
Send me either an dbase, MDB, txt, CSV, xls, ... and within 5 minutes you've got your labels. I've seen this complaint a few times. Never understood why. Probably just missing some understanding of the concept?

But I promise, after this X-mas I'll see if there is a good guide (both headlines and step by step). If not, I'll write it myself.

Pls. keep trafic on the list.

Best wishes & a mery Christmas,

Cor
