addressee in the correct place. The return address comes out fine.
Since you say "... no matter where I set the text box or how I
change its size" and "I found several how to documents...", I
assume you have followed the instructions given in "Printing with
Writer", but that has not helped.

If other things print from OOo to that printer okay, your problem
sounds like it could be a bug, unless it's just something weird
in your printer driver or other setup. I wish I could help more,
but I have no experience in troubleshooting printer problems in
Linux.
