Alexandro

Thanks. I'm an ex-slackware user than now runs Debian. I run
Linux exclusively now and have for many years. Windoze didn't
play nice with the other kids.

I don't seem to have koffice, just openoffice. There is
something on one of the file lists that mentions PDF but
it didn't seem to do the job.

I use dvipdf to convert LaTeX output files into PDF but I've
run into problems with things such as italics not being displayed
on Windoze machines. This is very important for writing when
you use italics to differentiate someones thoughts from narrative
and quotations.

I'll see if I can get a copy of koffice and try it.

Thank you very much for the information.

Sincerely,

Dale E. Edmons

Subject: [discuss] Imports for Openoffice

KOffice can read PDF, if you are not using Linux yet, you can sign up for a
cosmopod account and access linux from the web. Site is at
http://www.cosmopod.com
