Yes you can do this. I have Engish and Welsh for both my Windows and Ubuntu
Linux
versions of OOo 2.0.1. There are language packs that you need to download and
install. By default you probably have en-US (US English). I have installed
en-GB
(British English) and cy (Welsh) packs. I would suggest that you install es
(Spanish)
and en-GB (if you prefer it to en-US).

I think the place to get language packs for 00o 2.0.1 is:

No doubt, someone will tell us if I am wrong. The Windows installs are at the
bottom of
the list.

In Widows, run the down loaded exe for each pack. In Linux, follow the usual
route for
your distro (e.g for Ubuntu, use Synaptic package manager).

The last pack you install will be the language you will see on startup. Go to
Tools >
Options > Languages to select a different language and restart OOo to change
the
language. You will need to know enough Spanish to follow this route to change
to
English. I assume you do.

Finally, can I suggest you use the [email protected] list for general
'how-to'
questions
