There are language packs that you need to download and install. By default you probably have en-US (US English). I have installed en-GB (British English) and cy (Welsh) packs. I would suggest that you install es (Spanish) and en-GB (if you prefer it to en-US). I think the place to get language packs for 00o 2.0.1 is: http://oootranslation.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/2.0.1rc5/ No doubt, someone will tell us if I am wrong. The Windows installs are at the bottom of the list. In Widows, run the down loaded exe for each pack. In Linux, follow the usual route for your distro (e.g for Ubuntu, use Synaptic package manager). The last pack you install will be the language you will see on startup. Go to Tools > Options > Languages to select a different language and restart OOo to change the language. You will need to know enough Spanish to follow this route to change to English. I assume you do.
