Open Office is a relatively large program to download, especially if you
have a telephone modem. It is legal for anyone to copy the installation
files to CD and sell them at a reasonable price. If you compare the cost of
that CD, the persons time for making the CD, cost of printing a label, and
then shipping you can see that person is not getting rich. I personally
have copied the files to CD and passed it on to friends and relatives.
The more people that use OOo, the more the "think tank" people will improve
it.
