Whenever I try to import files found at
http://www.retrosheet.org/
into a spreadsheet format with OO it turns them into Write files; however,
Excel will import these rather cleanly after running a routine that inquires
about the nature of the file delimiters. Some of the files are found at a
sub screen of the above page called events. Others are files I have
downloaded from the events page and massaged with a tool available elsewhere
on the same page callled Bevent.exe.
My purpose is to either 1) get the info into a spread sheet or 2)from the
spreadsheet export the info into a form the base may use.
Am I missing something or is this a fix that needs a'fixin?
