Dear Sir/Mrs: When I first downloaded Open Office, it would run files that had StyleWriter captions. The captions did not show in the right column, but instead had a yellow square where the caption extended from, and when the curser was moved above this yellow square, it showed the cation on screen. Now the word processor won't do that. All I get is the basic text of the Word or RTF file minus the files found when opened with MSWord.
Have I altered the system or something that keeps the captions from showing. What must I do to get these captions back. There is an advantage with the captions with Open Office over MS Word. With Word the captions or off page and you have to either reduce the size of the print to see both the page and captions or scroll left and right alot. To use the yellow squares with Open Office, I keep my page in full screen print and still see the captions for my ability to correct the errors found by stylewriter software.
