And now you are asking for an integration of this code into the program? In this case you have two options: You can join the developer mailing list of the Writer project ([email protected]) and discuss the topic with the developers or you can create an issue in Issuezilla and apply your code change as a patch and assign it to the Writer component. As I assume that this is your first contribution I recommend to start with joining the mailing list and introduce your new feature there.
